達爾吞·康黎是紐約大學的一名社會學家。他和他的妻子拿塔莉 · 耶瑞蜜恩葛育有兩名子女。幾年前他們夫妻倆曾向市公所申請更名，因為他們想將五歲兒子的名字改為約信海諾·奧古斯都·艾司納·亞歷山大·威瑟·納可·耶瑞蜜恩葛·康黎。其實這孩子原本的名字與此相去不遠，但這對父母又在其中加入了三個名字。他們所取的每一個名字都是有特殊用意的。
我相信在馬太福音一開頭羅列出的名字，也有上帝特別的用意。這份冗長、無趣的名單看來似乎毫無意義，但其實它至少有兩個目的。首先，這一長串姓名所組成的架構，是血統純正的希伯來人追溯家族根源，保持信仰純淨不受外在影響的依據。其次，它們還顯示出上帝的工作是超乎一切之上的。從這些名字中，我們可以看出上帝歷世歷代以來的作為，而最後引向彌賽亞的降生。在耶穌的家譜中，上帝使用了各種不同的人，有農夫、君王、妓女、犯姦淫者，還有騙子。因此在閱讀這份名單時，我們便不能不想到上帝的信實。

Dalton Conley, a sociologist at New York University, and his wife, Natalie Jeremijenko, have two children. Several years ago, they sought permission from the city to change their 5-year-old son’s name to Yo Xing Heyno Augustus Eisner Alexander Weiser Knuckles Jeremijenko-Conley. Actually, a lot of that name was already his, but his parents added three of the middle names. They had specific reasons for each one.
I believe that God had specific reasons for the names He included in the beginning of Matthew’s gospel. It may seem like a long, boring list of meaningless names, but those names served at least two purposes. First, they provided the framework by which true Hebrews could establish their family roots and maintain religious purity against outside influences. Second, the names reflected the sovereign work of God. They revealed God’s dealings in the past, which resulted in the birth of the Messiah. The Lord used all kinds of people in Jesus’ lineage—farmers, kings, a prostitute, adulterers, liars. When we read this list, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness.

【新華網】日前在北京召開的第67屆世界藥學大會上，抗生素的耐藥性問題成為中外藥學界人士關注的重點話題。與會者一致認為，這一問題應引起社會各方重視，共同確保抗生素的合理使用。中國藥學會抗生素專業委員會委員、解放軍總醫院臨床藥理藥學研究室主任王睿說，全世界因感染死亡的病例中，85％是由抗藥菌所致，這是抗生素濫用的一個嚴重後果。
王睿說，每一種新抗生素進入臨床並廣泛應用後，隨之而來的就是細菌抗藥性產生，從而導致新抗生素使用壽命減少，但新藥開發週期又遠遠長於細菌抗藥變異出現的時間，這使得某些抗藥菌缺乏有效藥物，因此抗藥菌死亡率高。
王睿指出，抗生素濫用除了誘導細菌抗藥性，還可能誘發二重感染，延長患者住院時間，甚至還可以造成臟器毒性，引起肝腎功能損害，增加患者精神和經濟負擔。
細菌抗藥性已成為跨越國境的全球性問題。來自美國的丹尼爾‧塞尤姆說，美國疾病預防控制中心估計，每年美國要花40億美元用於治療抗生素抗藥性病例。他說：「規範使用抗生素，需要生物專家、醫生、藥師、護士以及患者各方一起合作。」
肯亞一家醫院的主任藥師西塔爾‧沙阿說，醫院成立各科人員組成的藥物和治療委員會後，控制抗生素濫用的效果明顯。2005年在醫院793種藥物中，4種抗生素費用佔到藥物總預算的9.6%，2006年醫院抗生素消費量下降了62%。

It was agreed that this issue should be given to all sectors of the community together to ensure the rational use of antibiotics. Chinese Pharmaceutical Association antibiotics professional member of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital pharmacy clinical pharmacology research director Wang Rui said that the world because of the death of infected cases, 85% are caused by the resistant bacteria, antibiotics abuse is a serious consequences. Wang Rui said, every kind of new antibiotics and widespread clinical application, then come bacterial resistance is generated, resulting in reduced service life of the new antibiotics, but new drug development cycle and much longer than bacterial resistance variation in the time, which makes some of the lack of an effective drug resistant bacteria, anti - high mortality of bacteria.
Wang Rui, apart from the abuse of antibiotics by bacteria resistant to infection may also be induced to extend patients hospitalized time, and even can cause organ toxicity, caused liver and kidney dysfunction, increased mental and economic burden on patients.
Drug-resistant bacteria has become a transboundary global issues. Daniel from the United States - Seyoum said, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that every year the United States to spend four billion US dollars for the treatment of antibiotic resistant cases. He said: "standardize the use of antibiotics, the need of experts, doctors, pharmacists, nurses and patients all parties work together."
Kenya's director of a hospital's pharmacy Xitami Shah said, the hospital staff set up branches in drugs and the treatment, control antibiotics abuse evident result. 2005 793 medicines in hospitals, four kinds of antibiotics drug costs accounted for 9.6% of the total budget in 2006, the hospital antibiotic consumption dropped by 62%.
