馬可福音

10:47	他聽見是拿撒勒的耶穌，就喊著說：“大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！”
10:48	有許多人責備他，不許他做聲。他卻越發大聲喊著說：“大衛的子孫哪，可憐我吧！”
10:49	耶穌就站住，說：“叫過他來。”他們就叫那瞎子，對他說：“放心！起來，他叫你啦。”
10:50	瞎子就丟下衣服，跳起來，走到耶穌那裡。
10:51	耶穌說：“要我為你做甚麼？”瞎子說：“拉波尼（註：就是夫子），我要能看見！”
10:52	耶穌說：“你去吧，你的信救了你了。”瞎子立刻看見了，就在路上跟隨耶穌。

街上的乞丐問你要錢，你通常有甚麼反應？耶穌親近他們……
10:46-52　當時大部分的工作都是體力勞動，這對殘障人士極之不利。即使神的律法命令百姓要照顧有需要的人（參利25:35-38），但殘障人士一般都被迫行乞，所以很多市鎮都有乞丐。當時的人認為瞎眼是因犯罪而被神咒詛（參約9:2），但是耶穌醫治瞎眼的人，駁倒了這個觀念。

瞎子的呼求，也是你的呼求？
10:47　人們都知道彌賽亞是大衛的後代（參賽9:7），所以往往稱彌賽亞為大衛的子孫。巴底買稱耶穌為大衛的子孫，表示他承認耶穌是彌賽亞。他的信心使他得痊愈。

10:52		And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
