很多人都想有一個家，有些人卻選擇獨身，為甚麼？
19:10-12 儘管在舊約時代要離婚很容易（19:7），神的本意卻不是這樣。夫妻必須由開始就定意絕不考慮離婚，在彼此委身的基礎上建立婚姻關係。另一方面，選擇獨身的理由也很多，其中一個就是可以有更多時間為神的國度工作。不要以為神希望每一個人都結婚，對於某些人來說，獨身比結婚還好。在你立下婚姻這畢生的承諾之前，必須懇切祈禱，尋求神的旨意。

神要人都像小孩子，小孩子到底有甚麼特質？那些宗教領袖就沒有了，你有嗎？
19:13-15 門徒一定忘記了耶穌曾經說過的有關小孩子的話（18:4-6）。耶穌希望小孩子到祂那裡，因為祂愛小孩子，也因為只有像小孩子那樣純真才能親近神。不是說只有小孩子才能進天國，而是指人對神的信心要像小孩子一樣純真。小孩子樂於接受的態度，恰好與宗教領袖的頑梗剛硬成為強烈的對比，那些宗教領袖讓所接受的宗教教育和他們的世故老練，代替了單純相信耶穌的心。
