如果有人問你，你和你的神之間有沒有攔阻？你有勇氣回答說沒有嗎？
8:5-6 本來在這個百夫長和耶穌之間有很多隔膜，例如他的驕傲、懷疑、錢財、言語、距離、時間、自給自足、能力、種族等等，但他沒有讓這些成為他來見耶穌的阻礙。
