我的家人都不理睬我，為何我仍要信耶穌？
10:17-22 不久這些門徒就要經歷這些苦難（參徒5:40；12:1-3），不但是來自政府法庭的，也包括親人、朋友的逼迫（10:21）。為神而活往往會帶來逼迫，同時也帶來宣講福音的機會。在逼迫中，我們要有信心，因為耶穌“已經勝了世界”（參約16:33），忍耐到底的人將必得救（10:22）。
傳福音的時候很緊張？不如聽聽耶穌對你說的……
10:19-20 耶穌告訴門徒當他們因為傳福音的緣故而被捕時，不用擔心怎樣答辯，神的靈會引領他們說話（參徒4:8-14）。但有些人卻誤以為傳福音不必做準備工作，因為神會照應一切。其實，聖經教導我們要小心預備如何應對（參西4:6），耶穌只叫我們不要擔心，而不是叫我們不必作準備工作。
“忍耐到底”，到底為誰？
10:22 “忍耐到底”並不是得救的方法，卻是真正委身於耶穌的憑證；堅持並不是賺取救恩的方法，只是真正敬虔的生命所應有的表現而已。
為義受逼迫的人既然有福，為何耶穌要我逃？
10:23 基督警告門徒要逃避未到時機的殉道，逼迫未變得太大之前，就要離開。我們須完成許多工作，也須接觸許多人，這些工作直到基督再來才會完成，惟有在祂回來之後，整個世界才會曉得祂的真正身分（參24:14；羅14:9-12）。

I do not pay attention to my family, why do I still have the Bible?
