門徒厭煩小孩，耶穌卻疼愛小孩。我怎樣對待小孩？
9:36-37 耶穌教導門徒要歡迎小孩子，在一個視小孩子為二等公民的社會中，這是一個新的觀念。愛孩子很重要，但教導他們認識耶穌更重要。所以不要認為兒童事工沒有成人事工那麼重要。
“非我族類”常是我拒絕與人合作事奉的真正原因嗎？
9:38 門徒只關心自己的地位，而沒有想那些被鬼附的人得自由，他們妒忌那個奉耶穌的名為人趕鬼的人。今天，我們也會犯同樣的錯誤，拒絕參與一些有價值的事，只因為：（1）這些事與我們的宗派沒有關係；（2）其他的參與者令我們感到不安；（3）別人的處事方法與自己的習慣不同；（4）自己的努力得不到足夠的表揚。有正確的神學知識固然重要，但我們絕不可以此為藉口，拒絕幫助需要幫助的人。
不如採取中立，好叫我不會得罪人……
9:40 耶穌並不是說對祂冷淡或採取中立態度與向祂獻身一樣，祂曾說：不與祂相合的，就是敵祂的；不同祂收聚的，就是分散的。（參太12:30）馬太和馬可都記載耶穌指出對祂採取中立態度是不可能的。跟從耶穌的人有不同的背境，不同的個性，卻有共同的目標——建立神的國，所以不應讓彼此的分歧阻礙共同目標的達成。信徒在基督裡有共同信仰，就應團結起來，通力合作，和睦相處。別人不須與我們一模一樣，也能一起跟從耶穌。

9:40 Jesus said unto him is not indifferent or neutral attitude and dedication向祂, he said: do not coincide with him, he is the enemy; different to him-and that is decentralized. (See too 12:30) Matthew and Mark have documented that Jesus unto him to take a neutral attitude is not possible. To follow Jesus people have different background, different personality, but a common goal - the establishment of God's country, so should not be allowed to impede their differences to achieve common goals. Believers in Christ have a common faith, we should unite together and work together, live together in harmony. Others do not have to exactly the same with us, to come together to follow Jesus.
