| 40:5 | 被囚在監之埃及王的酒政和膳長，二人同夜各做一夢，各夢都有講解。 |

酒政和膳長，他們的遭遇你也大概知道一二吧……
40:1-3 酒政和膳長是埃及王最信任的兩位大臣。膳長負責為法老調製食物，酒政則將送到法老面前的飲食先行嘗試，看有沒有被污染或落毒。這兩個曾深受法老信任的人涉嫌犯了嚴重的錯誤，也許他們二人同謀要殺害法老王。後來，酒政獲得釋放，而膳長則被處死。

| 40:1 | | And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. |
