看來復活後的生活跟今世的生活會有很大的差別……
12:25-27 耶穌並不是說人在將臨的國度中不認自己的配偶，祂只表示神國的新秩序並非今生的延續。在神國中，肉體和自然的規律都不再適用。
這兒，耶穌並非想要為天國裡的婚姻定案，而是拒絕回答撒都該人的質問，以免跌入他們的陷阱中。耶穌迴避無子立後之婦人的問題，而給他們對復活肯定的答案。
如果神只屬於過去……
12:26-27 撒都該人所問的並非婚姻的問題，而是復活的問題。他們只相信摩西五經，耶穌就引用出埃及記3章6節來證實死後有生命。法利賽人與他們辯論這個問題時，忽略了這節經文。亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各死了許久後，神還提到他們，就如他們仍然在世一樣。神與所有人立的約，在人死後仍然生效。
