7:8	你們是離棄　神的誡命，拘守人的遺傳。”
7:9	又說：“你們誠然是廢棄　神的誡命，要守自己的遺傳。
7:10	摩西說：‘當孝敬父母’，又說：‘咒罵父母的，必治死他。’
7:11	你們倒說：‘人若對父母說：我所當奉給你的，已經作了各耳板’（各耳板就是供獻的意思），
7:12	以後你們就不容他再奉養父母。
7:13	這就是你們承接遺傳，廢了　神的道。你們還做許多這樣的事。”

今天，你也有所“拘守”嗎？
7:8-9　法利賽人聲稱自己知道神在生活上每一個小節的旨意，就在神聖潔的律法以外，再加上數百項瑣碎的規條，強迫人遵守。今天有些宗教領袖仍然嘗試在神的話以外再加上許多規條，在信徒中間引起不少混亂。看自己對神話語的解釋與神的話同等重要，就是偶像崇拜。為別人訂立一些並非來自聖經的標準是一件極危險的事。你只要仰望基督，由祂指引你的行為，至於別人生活中的細節，讓主去帶領吧。

所當做的，我已做了，不是嗎？金錢明明奉上，還有甚麼？
7:10-11　法利賽人以神作為藉口，推卸奉養父母的責任。雖然神的律法已特別說明要孝敬父母（參出20:12），也要幫助窮人（參利25:35-43），但他們認為放錢在聖殿的庫房比供養自己有需要的父母更重要。（關於各耳板，請參太15:5-6註釋。）我們應該把金錢和時間獻給神，但絕不應以神作為逃避責任的藉口。幫助有需要的人是榮耀神最重要的途徑。
