免疫療法 獲致重大突破！ 最近發表在6月19日出刊的《新英格蘭醫學期刊》，有研究人員為罹患末期黑素瘤皮膚癌的病患做突破性治療的報告，執筆人華裔學者Dr. Cassian Yee與西雅圖Hutchinson癌症研究中心的同仁，從一名52歲黑素瘤病患身上取出CD4 T免疫白血球細胞，然後在實驗室中經過調整與擴充，再把約五十億個免疫細胞注射入病人體內。這名病人的癌細胞原本已擴散到淋巴結和一邊的肺，估計最多活不過一年，但接受這種新療法之後不到八週，身上的所有黑素瘤全部消失，兩年多以後仍然沒有復發的跡象，醫生確定他已完全康復。這個首次案例顯示，來自病患本身免疫系統的細胞，經過複製成抗感染Ｔ細胞，能長期緩和病情，並成功對抗皮膚癌。 醫學界不停在尋找黑素瘤癌症的治療方法，希望獲致重大突破。利用病患自體免疫系統來對抗癌症，即所謂的免疫療法，這是新興的研究領域。專家指出，免疫療法已成為末期皮膚癌最有潛力的治療方式，相較於標準的化療與輻射療法，毒性較低。如果進一步測試證實這項療法的效用，便可用來治療25%的末期皮膚癌病患。 目前接受免疫療法的九名皮膚癌病患中只有一人完全康復，這成功的案例給其他病患帶來鼓舞和希望。但專家警告：還需要進行更大型的臨床試驗，才可確定這種方法的成效。何況目前這種治療法費用相當昂貴，也不是一般病人負擔得起。 （作者為外科醫生）／鎮暄 2008-07-06

維持制度，合理；體恤人的需要，合情。要二者選其一，我可怎選？怎樣可以情理兼備？
2:24　很多法利賽人甘於被人訂的條例和傳統囚禁，以致看不清楚甚麼是善是對。耶穌暗示安息日是行善的日子（3:4）。神設立安息日作為休息和敬拜的日子，不是要我們只顧休息，連舉手之勞也不幫助人。不要讓你的“安息日”變成縱容自己自私自利的機會。

我有時也會只要求別人遵守規則，而忽略了其背後的……
2:25-28　耶穌用大衛的例子（參撒上21:1-6）來指出法利賽人的指摘是何等的荒謬。神設立安息日是為人而不是祂自己的益處。人在安息日休息，不會叫神得到甚麼好處，卻可使人花時間親近神，讓身體和靈性都能夠恢復元氣。法利賽人卻認為安息日的條例比其意義還重要。大衛和耶穌都明白神律法的真正本義是增進人對神和其他人的愛。我們若不明白律法的本義，就不要把律法強加於別人身上，否則只會作出不適當的判斷，傷害別人。
